With industry experience of over 25 years and having overcome various challenges, we can confidently say that we are seasoned, trained and experts in our field. We have handled BIG Indian weddings and the most luxurious honeymoon with private chartered flights and the best suite in the hotel. Our network of partners are equally reliable with years of experience and excellent product knowledge. When we research a destination and pick our partners, we evaluate all options by trying them personally. To give you an example we have done the guided Montmartre walk in Paris with 5 different companies and work with 3 of them depending on our clients profile & needs. This is how seriously we take our business. Besides our past experience, we are constantly evolving and upgrading ourselves by visiting our portfolio of destination at least once a year and attending industry trade fairs to learn about what’s new & upcoming in the travel industry.
Meet the Designer
Bhargavi Prajapati (friends call her B!) has 26 years of experience in the luxury travel industry, has successfully planned holidays for some very famous movie stars, industrialists and top corporate executives. Her adventurous spirit got her to Bungy Jump in New Zealand in the 90's, scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef, try all the game meat in East Africa, bugs in Thailand and recently scaling the Machu Picchu summit. No matter where she goes (including her own personal family holidays) she is busy inspecting hotels & services. Her love for wine has got her to study it seriously to explore all the wine regions in France. She is WSET 2 qualified. It is no surprise that most of her clients become her lifelong friends.
Our Story
Founded in 2004, we began our journey by servicing travel agents whose speciality was only ticketing and SOL Trips would provide support to their holiday planning business. With the growth of internet, we decided to service our own clients as we always felt that we can plan more personalized vacations if we spoke and listened to our clients personally. We still plan journeys for companies and also provide trainings for their staff. Sometime around 2012, we made a conscious choice and effort to focus on experiential travel. We decided that our discerning travel community deserved the best to experience the destination like a local and that can only happen with immersive travel experiences. The journey was difficult to educate and convince people to change their seat in coach tours to guided walks by historians which are a little more expensive. However, we were not ready to give up and our persistence helped and our clients came back with raving reviews. We are now known for as experts of planning experiential travel for families with kids. Our creative travel planning earned us the prestigious French Ambassador’s award and recently we were awarded “Best Child-Friendly Luxury Travel Agency 2022” by LUXlife Magazine.
Responsible & Sustainable Tourism
SOL Trips has recently partnered with The Blue Yonder to provide meaningful travel experiences for discerning travellers. It all started back in 2004 with a small initiative on river conservation in the state of Kerala. From then on, we’ve been knitting together many beautiful and inspirational holidays for our guests. The Blue Yonder brings together authentic and unique experiences that are intimately connected to the local communities we engage and work together with. We enable travellers to be part of some of the most inspiring stories around – of communities working together to provide unique experiences in some of the most magical places on Earth.
